Thank you to everyone who attended the Allan Culture Day this year!
A FREE, fun filled day of cultural activities held at the Parkland Hall from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm!
The Culture Day in Allan is part of the national voice for the active and engaged cultural life of all Canadians!
The Allan Culture Day offers old fashioned hands on activities including butter churning, rope making, baking pepper nuts, quilting, paper weaving, cross-stitching and use of old fashion carpentry tools. Elders are going to be doing a demonstration about how to make cut out dolls from magazines and making hanky dolls for charity. There will also be displays featuring “Communications” and “What is Allan”.
