We had a successful summer of operation of our new pool despite getting a late start. Council has decided to move ahead with demolition and reconstruction of the change house. All costs of work completed by October 31, 2011 will be matched through federal funding. For completion of the work, additional funding will be required. We are looking at fund raising opportunities and support from the community. Although the original bids came in well above the budgeted amount, Council will use be using local contractors and volunteer help to bring the costs down.
